The proposal for Google HQ Budapest is based on the company’s core values of transparency, openness, and diversity. These ideas are expressed through a tectonic system of folded structural “pillows” that shape a continuous workplace landscape. By stacking, opening, and enclosing these modular floor plates, the building creates a range of spatial conditions, from quiet and private work areas to generous double-height collaborative spaces. The result is a porous and dynamic environment that encourages interaction, visual connectivity, and diverse ways of working.
